The Common Areas
The Getaway offers several spacious areas for guests and friends to gather and enjoy each others company. During the summer and fall months the living space extends out to the large front porch where you can sit and enjoy a quiet evening. Also available for you pleasure is a 2nd floor screened in porch (we just learned that this is known as a sleeping porch) where you can sit and enjoy a quiet moment before retiring for the evening.
One of the comments made often by our guests is that it is so nice to have a place where a large group can stay together without being split up among multiple hotel rooms.
